The Shopping Cart Graveyard, a project by the Bayou Preservation Association (a member of EarthShare of Texas), received special recognition in the On-the-Ground Projects Under $500,000 category by The Houston-Galveston Area Council as one of the winners of the 2011 Parks and Natural Areas Award competition announced on Jan. 17.
