About UsThe mission of Earth Share of Texas is to support the work of its participating organizations to conserve and protect our natural resources through participation in payroll contribution charitable campaigns at public and private worksites in Texas. Since 1992, Earth Share of Texas has raised more than $8 million for its participating organizations through contributions as small as $1 per pay period per employee. Hundreds of thousands of employees in Texas have the choice to contribute to 70 participating organizations, or make a general gift to Earth Share of Texas that is divided among the participating organizations. The largest current project of Earth Share of Texas is management of the City of Austin Combined Charities Campaign, which provides more than 530 charitable options to more than 10,000 employees. Earth Share of Texas has managed this campaign since 2004, and was recognized in 2007 by the National Alliance for Choice in Giving as recipient of the 2007 Workplace Giving Campaign Management Award "for the organization's commitment to professionalism, fairness and public accountability." |
